I have used this same pedometer for several years. It is very reliable. I purchased this one when my old one wore out after a number of years of every day use. It is called a "Pocket Pedometer," and I usually carry mine in a pocket. However, it comes with a clip to wear it clipped to a belt or waistband. There is also a strap that you can slip over the belt as a safety against knocking it off and losing it when it is clipped to the belt. It is easy to set the necessary information such as the time. I am really only interested in counting my steps, but it can be set to measure the distance traveled and the aerobic value achieved. A feature I really like is that it stores 7 days worth of information, so you can compare how you have done over a week. The screen is very easy to read. It alerts you when the battery needs to be replaced. A number of stores carry the type of battery the pedometer uses. My husband and daughter also each have one of these pedometers and are as sold on it as I am.Get more detail about Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer.
