We use these products in a prison system. Larger cuffs do not fit through the bars, nor do many of the inmate's arms. These units are very handy to obtain relaible vital signs (I spent alot of time comparing the reading to routine BP cuffs. They were very compatible in the range as long as you followed instructions) It also beats holding out someone's arm and have an inmate try to get it close to your breast as you try to help him hold a stable position. That doesn't happen with these cuffs. I expect to see more of these in the future..they are less painfull and much easier to haul around with you.
